6th International Ontological Workshop is to be held May 9 – 11, 2016 at the  International Center for Formal Ontology (ICFO).

The workshop will comprise presentations by Polish ontologists on a wide range of ontological issues. On the one hand, it aims to consolidate Polish ontological circles, and, on the other, to demonstrate that Polish ontologists address important ontological problems and propose adequate solutions. Thus, an important outcome of the workshop will be the publication of a post-workshop monograph by a prestigious foreign publishing house (most probably de Gruyter). The publication will consist of the positively reviewed high quality papers. Presentations and papers will be classified into the following topics: analytic ontology, applied ontology, ontology of mind, ontology of mathematics and science, phenomenological ontology, topological ontology, Thomistic ontology, and other related topics.
